Business Development Representative – Security Services
Position Overview
The Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and supporting the growth of Fresno Security & Patrol Service. This entry-level sales role focuses on outreach, relationship building, and assisting with the development of security service contracts. The BDR works closely with management to introduce FSPS services to potential clients while maintaining a professional and ethical approach at all times.
Job Description & Responsibilities

Prospect and identify potential clients in need of security services, including commercial properties, residential communities, events, and businesses

Conduct outbound outreach through phone calls, emails, in-person visits, and follow-ups

Educate potential clients on FSPS services, capabilities, and service standards

Schedule meetings, site walkthroughs, and consultations for management

Assist in preparing proposals, service quotes, and follow-up communications

Maintain accurate records of leads, contacts, and communications

Represent the company professionally at all times and uphold FSPS values

Support marketing and business development initiatives as needed
Training, Growth & Advancement

Receive structured training on security services, sales techniques, and client communication

Learn contract basics, pricing models, and site-specific security needs

Opportunities for advancement into Account Executive, Business Development Manager, or Sales Manager roles based on performance and reliability
